Devlog #1 - New game, first WIP demo (Godot 4.0 beta)
Here it is, a first glimpse of the vampire-sim game I started 2 months ago when I announced the development pause on Synthnostate 1. In short, I decided to build a simpler RPG in a popular engine (Godot) for faster development and the possibility of collaboration, and I’m releasing early and often in hopes of getting noticed by fans, testers, and collaborators.
As you can see, it’s very early in development. We have a few demo levels, save/load, two nameless NPCs, basic game mechanics and AI, item pickup, inventory, keyboard/control settings, and rudimentary character customization.

- Hard scifi power fantasy with a touch of horror (inverse horror?)
- Systems-driven Action RPG / Immersive Simulation
- In the mold of VTMB, Deus Ex, Thief
- B-grade graphics with faces
- Hunting/stalking and other stats-driven vampiric mechanics built on a traditional realtime combat base
- Character/dialogue focus as well
- Modular scenarios
- Full-featured modding system
